Nestled among the rolling hills of Mascali, a Sicilian municipality to which it belongs, Puntalazzo is a splendid village immersed in the lush greenery of Etna. Inhabited since 1600, it has always been a renowned summer resort, once the residence of wealthy landowners from Aci who loved to spend the summer in the area, immersed in the lush alternation of woods and vineyards.

Its elevated location, 570 meters above sea level, allows you to admire the splendid panorama of one of the most beautiful areas of Eastern Sicily without obstacles, with a view that manages to range from the Gulf of Catania, the heart of the Ionian Sea, up to the Strait of Messina and the coasts of Calabria, always dominated by the majesty and magnificence of Etna.

In the last 20 years this small and charming village has been the protagonist of a renewed vitality, thanks also to the passion and commitment made by our association, which undertakes to organize events and initiatives aimed at promoting the area.
